Bike Torque Racing is a motorcycle parts distributor based in Frome, Somerset. UK. We are UK importers and distributors for many of the world’s finest motorcycle parts including Afam chains and sprockets, Brembo brakes, OZ wheels and many others. But it wasn’t always that way…..
Bike Torque started trading in late 1994, when the (then) managing director Neil Appleton, was busy winning races on a Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle around the racetracks of Britain. With very little to work with, he bravely raised the capital by selling his race bike to make the first steps into the parts business. It was a nerve-wracking time, but the funds grew from the parts from the first bike to purchase a second bike, and then another and another! And so, Bike Torque Racing was born and started life as a Suzuki parts specialist.
Of course, the nature of used parts is that there is a huge demand for some and very little for others, so where the demand existed, we started selling new Suzuki parts alongside the used ones. This continued until 1999, and as time went by many of our customers who liked the service and knowledge, but having bought bikes from different manufacturers, started asking for parts for them as well. This led to us expanding into new parts for all other bike brands. These changes led to increased enquiries from dealers looking for trade supply - which meant buying in bigger volumes and setting up supplying dealers as a major part of our business.
In 2000, we agreed to be the sole UK distributors for all Afam and NRC products and the dealer supply part of our business grew from there. Now, we are UK Importers and Distributors for brands such as AFAM, Brembo, DID, Domino, JT, Matris, Newfren, O.Z, Pipercross and many more.
We stock thousands of parts for all makes and models of motorcycles regardless of their intended use. We have sprockets for mopeds and brake pads for Harleys, handlebars for racers and chains for commuters. We always did, still do, and always will ride motorcycles wherever possible - roads, racetracks, off road, touring, custom bikes, you name it.
Today, Bike Torque Racing consists of team of 9 hard-working members of staff, who have a passion for all things motorcycling and the drive to help our customers feel the same way. The business has evolved over the years, but some things remain unchanged. We still believe in focus, still believe in quality, and still believe in customer service.
Focus - Look through our products and you will see that we specialise entirely in motorcycle parts. Hard parts are tremendously complicated and rely upon our years of knowledge and expertise to advise/sell correctly.

Service – Our friendly and helpful staff in sales, support and despatch ensure the best parts buying experience. We stock extensively and ship items within the UK (next day) and overseas. Our loyal customers return to us again and again for this reason.
In 2022 it was with great sadness that we lost our founder Neil Appleton to a brief illness. The legacy that Neil left behind was for us to continue giving the biking world the knowledge, expertise, support, and service that only a close-knit family like the BTR team can.
