So why are light wheels so important? With today’s modern Superbikes being so powerful, improved handling is now worth considerably more to a lap time than additional power. A Superbike now spends as little as 2% of its lap time on full throttle and that is the only time that power really affects lap times. Lightweight wheels are a massive advantage because any loss in unsprung and rotating weight is worth several times its actual physical weight because it has a massive effect on handling. By fitting lighter wheels you will:

Piega R – Aluminium Race wheel

Available for specific applications, this wheel is for Race use ONLY.
Additional machining makes them lighter than Piega wheels.

Cattiva 6 spoke Forged Magnesium wheels

These wheels are available in a large range of colours as standard and are again, offered in two formats:

Cattiva– Magnesium Aftermarket wheel

Available for many applications for Road, Track day and Race use.

Cattiva R – Magnesium Race wheel

Available for specific applications, this wheel is for Race use ONLY.

Cattiva Race wheel Pricing

Prices for Cattiva Race wheels are generally similarly to the Cattiva wheels. However, due to the complexity of sizes used in racing all Cattiva Race wheels are quoted separately. They are available in 16", 16.5" and 17" diameters as well as all logical widths.

OZ Motorbike wheels are currently used by the BMW WSB team, more than 50% of all the competitors in the Grand Prix Moto 2 class and numerous GP125 teams!
