AFAM handlebars are available in three styles, are constructed from aluminium and come in a choice of anodised colour finishes, dependant on the handlebar selected. The alloy tube was specifically developed from a European aerospace specification to ensure optimum bending without being too stiff or brittle.

AFAM Off Road Handlebars
Standard M5 Works
The "Standard M5 Works" range are designed for off road use primarily and are constructed from 5mm wall 2014 T6 aluminium "tubing". This is more resistant to bending than the 4mm tube often used in other brands, to provide the extra level of strength required for this usage. These 'bars come with a standard round, solid brace and are supplied with a bar pad. The internal diameter of the ends are machined out to allow fitting of handgaurds etc.

M5 Flex System
The "M5 Flex System" range of handlebars are constructed from T6 aerospace alloy, again in 5mm wall, but come not with a solid round brace, but with a flat brace designed and bent to a specific angle to act like a leaf spring, absorbing shocks and reducing vibration. This design improves the comfort of riding on hard terrain, helps absorb the landing impact of high jumps and reduces the fatigue of long runs. M5 Flex System 'bars are also supplied complete with a bar pad and are end machined as the M5 handlebars.

AFAM Streetbike Handlebars
The AFAM "Streetbike" range of 'bars are an unbraced style in 4mm wall thickness, with a standard diameter to fit most road bikes.
