A new brand? I don’t think so.
Perhaps the name may be unfamiliar to some enthusiasts, but the company has been supplying Original Equipment components to the motorcycle industry for several generations. It employs more than 1000 people and its customers include, Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, KTM, MV Agusta, Suzuki and Yamaha to name but a few. Their skill and expertise is vast and leads to their manufacturing products as diverse as frames for Aprilia, crankcases for Ducati 1098 and brakes for much of the industry.
What is new, is Grimeca’s entry into the aftermarket industry, starting with the new DR and DS Disc lines.
DS line
The new DS line is the result of 50 years of experience of the production of brake discs for major motorcycle manufacturers. Their unique and characteristic lightening holes, used on a round rotor, combine the technical and performance advantages of a round disc with the strong aesthetic qualities of a Petal disc. This technical breakthrough assures you of improved reliability and unprecedented performance with strong aesthetics and without any of the associated problems of Petal style discs.
DR line
For decades, Grimeca has supplied the main motorcycle manufacturers with braking systems. Now, for the first time, you can take advantage of this experience and expertise in the aftermarket, with the new DR line discs. Same stainless steel, same technology and certified manufacturing processes, to ensure the same quality and reliability afforded to the OEM systems fitted to your motorcycle.
